Wildfire detection cameras

Lake Wenatchee Fire and Rescue has gone live with 2 wildfire detection cameras.
The cameras are the first in WA state and utilize AI to detect smoke columns and thermal signatures. The cameras were installed in cooperation with UCSD and Localtel. Installation was funded by our local Auxiliary. We are hopeful that their success in monitoring and early detection lead to many more installations in Chelan County and across WA.
